Nasielsk 12 May 2012

This morning, Wojciech drove us to Nasielsk, about 48 km NW of Warsaw. Raining.

Unfortunately, we found nothing Jewish in the town.

So, here are the photos I took, so at least you can get an idea of what it looks like today.

Focussed on older buildings.

Jill’s great grandfather Josek Rotsztejn was a boot maker, hence the photo of her outside the shoe store. Who knows!

Jill left Warsaw for Perth and I was off to the Chopin Museum.

The sun is now shining, but it is cold.

Almost time to head off to Belarus by bus tonight!
